ISO 27001 INTERNAL AUDIT ASSISTANCE

Per the ISO 27001 requirements for performance evaluation, there is a mandatory requirement to ensure the planning and implementation of Internal Audits to evaluate information security performance and effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

SWIFT CSP INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENTS
Since 2021, the Swift Customer Security Programme (CSP) has shifted from a self-attestation model to a mandatory independent Community Standard Assessment (CSA) under the Independent Assessment Framework (IAF). These assessments require formal, evidence-based validation of compliance with the Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF), performed by an independent internal function (e.g. Internal Audit or second line of defence) or a qualified external assessor.
