Digital connectivity plays a pivotal role in unlocking innovation and prosperity around the world.  At the same time, organisations strive for digital automation to decrease costs, increase scale & market, and to reach new customers.

But this increase in connectivity and reliance on systems comes with information risks that need to be understood and then managed.

Subject-matter experts will discuss two of these information risks at our workshop, namely:

  • the risk of non-compliance with privacy regulations and balancing the legal & practical aspects of the regulations,
  • the increasing cybersecurity threat and challenges in Mauritius, and
  • the linkages and dependencies between these.

We will discuss the impacts these risks may have on your organisation, pragmatic approaches to identify and assess these risks, as well as some practical considerations that you can quickly apply in your organisation.
