Digital connectivity plays a pivotal role in unlocking innovation and prosperity around the world. At the same time, organisations strive for digital automation to decrease costs, increase scale & market, and to reach new customers.
But this increase in connectivity and reliance on systems comes with information risks that need to be understood and then managed.

Drudeisha Madhub – Mauritius Data Protection Commissioner
Drudeisha has several legal degrees and a legal career spanning over 21 years and several countries. During that time has published various articles in international journals and guidelines on data protection. Drudeisha has been the Mauritian Data Protection Commissioner in Prime Minister’s Office since August 2007. She is a member of the Francophone Association of Data Protection Commissioners, the Global Privacy Enforcement Network, and the United Nations Global Pulse Data Advisory Group.
Sabrina Sonaram – Associate Director, Bakertilly
Sabrina Sonaram, LLB (Hons.), LPC, MHRM, CIPD is an Associate Director with over 15 years of legal and regulatory compliance experience in the financial services sector and private sector across the globe. Sabrina has vast experience in identifying and mitigating legal and compliance control deficiencies as well as in legal advisory by structuring contracts and frameworks in order to protect global clients’ interests both in Mauritius and across a variety of jurisdictions.

Patrick is an IT management consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance. He has worked for some of the largest professional service firms and has accumulated experience across most industry sectors in Africa, USA, and UK.
Roelien Howell (CISM, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/E, FIP) – Senior Managing Consultant, Mobius Consulting
Roelien has extensive consulting experience, specifically in the Data Protection (Privacy) field and related disciplines. Roelien leads team members to assists various organisations across multiple industries in understanding, prioritising and remediating Data Protection control requirements. She is passionate about building relationships and identifying practical solutions to support successful projects.
Lovena Reddi (BSc, MBA, MCSE) – Managing Consultant, Mobius Consulting
Lovena has a good understanding of the corporate and IT landscape and has many years of practical experience in implementing information security in Mauritius. Lovena heads the Mobius Consulting client delivery teams in Mauritius.
