About the Event
Women have been making an impact in technology from its earliest developments. With women cited as being the first computer developers (Ada Lovelace), having invented WIFI (Hedy Lamarr) and boasting the Mother of the Internet (Radia Perlman). We continue to make an impact in the 21st century as the technology field expands at a rapid rate.
During the event, we will hear from women who are making an impact today and encourage young and experienced alike to be innovative and bold in their ideas and make an impact in their field, inspiring those around them to be the best in technology they can be.

COVID CLAUSE:
As per the Government of Mauritius, for the moment, no gathering beyond 50 persons is allowed. We are awaiting further instructions from the Government as to when this ban will be lifted. The above quote is to be used as a guideline as final Government update and decision will determine whether the event can be held within our premises.
SANITARY MEASURES:
In order to comply with all measures set forward by the Government of Mauritius concerning the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the hotel needs to make sure that:
- The wearing of masks is compulsory in all areas of the hotel except when seated for meals
- Only vaccinated attendees / guests will be allowed access within the hotel’s premises. Vaccination pass / card & ID will be checked at reception.
- Non-Vaccinated guests must present a PCR test result slip, certifying a negative result less dated no more 7 days from D date.
We have to conform to the requirements set forward by the Government of Mauritius and thank you for your understanding concerning these measures.

The Honourable Lady Sarojini Jugnauth
Keynote Speaker
The Right Honorable Lady Jugnauth (commonly known as Lady Sarojini Jugnauth) has dedicated 40 years of her life to teaching and training young people. Her philosophy is that life is a school: you have to learn from the adventures and misadventures of every day. Her motto has always been that every Mauritian citizen should have a good education.
Joanne Esmyot
Director at Public Digital
Joanne Esmyot (BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Multimedia and an MPhil in Business Process Management from the University of Mauritius) has 16 years of experience working in both the private and public sector. Currently, she leads strategic client engagements and advises senior leaders in governments and international organisations on digital transformation, as well as building and leading digital teams.
Lynn Martin
Mobius Group Strategist
Lynn Martin (CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, CIPP/M, CIPP/T) has a background in business and IT consulting, with over 20 years of experience in the consulting world. Lynn is currently focused on growing new markets for Phinity Risk Solutions and the Mobius Group, which involves assisting new regions to establish as well as helping existing businesses to improve and grow.
Vimla Tannoo
Senior Consultant, Mobius Consulting
Vimla Tannoo (MSc Cyber Security, MSc Information Security and Forensic, MSc (Conversion) Information System, BSc Mathematics, CISA, CEH) has over 13 years of experience in the information technology field. She has driven the implementation of frameworks such as CMM and ISO 27001, and has experience as both an internal and external auditor.

Lovena J Reddi (BSc (Hons), MBA, CISM,CISA, CDPSE) is a Senior Managing Consultant at Mobius Consulting. She has 15 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, with a focus on Information Security, IT Governance, and IT Audits, as well as Risk Management and Training.
Yogesh Sen Bappoo

Yogesh Bappoo (Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Professional/ ISMS Implementer, Certified Ethical Hacker) comes from a background in finance/management and IT and has extensive experience in Internal Auditing, functional/systems audits, IT Security, and Forensics.
